  • MBK and POCkets had the pleasure of being reading buddies to our Beekman Bears!  On February 29th (yes there is a leap year frog), our high school students read to our bears in small groups.  The Beekman Bears were proud to let us know that the PTSA hid 700 squeaky frogs around the school in honor of leap year.

  • MBK Fellows participated in an extensive day-long leadership workshop at the New York State Museum in Albany. The day began with Dr. Alston providing an introduction and establishing the day's purpose.

Speakers included Rev. Dr. Alfonso Wyatt, author of the book Madd Truth, which Fellows read as a requirement for the Mastermind Calls with Dr. Alston and Brad Butler.
