The principal theme of the course is functions as models of change, and this theme is reinforced through the study of the following functions: quadratic, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, polynomial and rational. In addition, the course includes an introduction to vectors and to inferential statistics. Homework is required and a three hour school exam is given in June. For this course, students will need agraphing calculator for home and school use.
