Science Department Course Information

  • All students are required to earn three credits in science and to pass one Regents science examination to graduate. At least one credit must be in a living science and one in a physical science. The Science Department has designed various courses to help students of all abilities to fulfill the graduation requirements. Our courses range from skills-based foundations courses for struggling students to a research course in which students can do independent research. All of our courses are either lab-based in modern high school laboratory rooms or computer-based in a computer room built for our exclusive use.

Below is a listing of all of our courses. For more information on sequencing and course descriptions, please view this slide show. Click on links on the first slide to jump directly to the specific page.
